Heather - I have subscribed to your website for many years , have become a paying member and have also purchased several of your products and have found your input and products extremely helpful with my IBS. BUT since having Substack added to your website I have found it extremely difficult to open the app. I have tried several times to download the App and have NEVER been able to get it. So very frustrating because I am unable to read or hear your information. Perhaps this is a PROBLEM with a lot of us. I am 82 and have found additional steps to obtain your information is very frustrating and finally end up not being able to read or listen. Is it possible that adding this feature to your website has caused issues with your problems. I would be very very sad to lose your wonderful experience and input with my serious IBS problems. You and your website have been a GODSEND. I plan to contribute to help you continue with your business and website.

Hi Sondra - I am so sorry to hear this! You should be able to read the newsletter in email without needing the app at all. I think you can also click through on the audio emails and view and listen in a browser, without the app. I will confess I don't use the app at all, I just use the email feature on my phone or pc and then go to a browser for the full view.

Can you access everything just from within email or clicking through into pc/phone browsers and not use the app at all? You should not have to download it if you don't want it.

You can also just reply to any of the emails and that will reach me directly.

XOXO

Hi, this is very interesting because for years I did not know I had IBS (since I was young, thought i just had sensitive stomach), I would use a heating pad when I had pain, which did really help.

Just want other people to know that heat does help!!

Sometimes it really is a miracle worker! I think that direct heat trick is especially helpful if there are menstrual cramps on top of IBS cramps.
