Practice peppermint power properly!
Need help NOW? Or trying to PREVENT symptoms and stay stable? Choose wisely...
Peppermint is one of the most effective ways to stop IBS pain, spasms, cramps, bloating, and gas.
But how you use it makes a big difference.
Do you need help NOW? Like RIGHT NOW? Go straight to your medicinal strength, high volatile oil peppermint tummy tea and brew it black. That will get menthol and methyl salicylate into your bloodstream immediately via the mucous membranes in your mouth. Almost nothing will stop an IBS attack in its tracks faster.
Are you trying to PREVENT symptoms and stay stable? Use your enteric peppermint oil capsules to tame your tummy proactively. They are more powerful than tea, but you have to use them as a preventative. They won’t work in just seconds or minutes. You have to take them on an empty stomach before trouble hits. Use them last thing at night before bed to head off morning problems, or first thing in the morning when you wake up, or half an hour before meals. Or all of the above.
Can you mix and match your peppermint tea and peppermint oil capsules?
Yes, but don’t make a minty mistake!
Have them at separate times of day. Hot tea will dissolve the capsule too quickly in your stomach, and that could lead to heartburn. So don’t eat or drink anything but a little cool water right with your peppermint oil capsule, and have your peppermint tea earlier (or later, or both).
