Inconsistent eating patterns are terrible for IBS.
Skipping meals, overeating, irregular eating schedules, fasting or bingeing - all disrupt your digestion.
And IBS by definition is already causing gut motility issues.
Your gut does not like going to extremes or wild swings.
Your goal with IBS is to get your gut on an even keel. Keep your gut motility in a calm consistent pattern by eating small amounts frequently throughout the day.
For IBS think moderation, never feast or famine.
And other sneaky sins when you’re eating for IBS…
